This year, the Volvo Ocean Race is not only about sailing. The crew will also map the amount of life in the oceans in a unique research project. The aim is to collect valuable information that might contribute to preventing the spread of invasive species, a major threat to the worl's oceans. Unique Swedish water purifying method makes Nova Park a winner

The spa at conference hotel Nova Park in Knivsta can show off almost the same chlorine content as the drinking water. This is thanks to the water purifying method used by the Swedish Cleantech Company Wallenius Water, a chemical-free method that copies nature’s own way of purifying. Satisfied visitors now avoid red itchy eyes and the pungent odour of chlorine.

Instituted by Lloyd´s List events, the prize recognizes innovative technology that benefits the marine environment.
