Wallenius Water participates in Earth Hour

Wallenius Water participates in Earth Hour - a global symbolic gesture with the aim to lift climate issues.

FACTS EARTH HOUR

WWF, the global conservation organisation, began the Earth hour initiative in Sydney in 2007, through people and businesses coming together and switching off their lights for one hour. Australia as a country has already seen the effects of climate change. The first year of Earth Hour resulted in 2 million people in Sydney and 2,000 companies switched off the lights. The news was spread around the globe. On Saturday March 27 2010 we turn off the lights for the fourth year.
