At Midsummer Eve people working in the Wallenius Water pavilion at Skeppsbron had, according to Swedish tradition, flowers in their hair. There was no maypole, but of course traditional herring for lunch.
A lot of people found their way to the pavilion and tasted purified water from Strömmen.
The event area Race Village at Skeppsbron and Kungsträdgården
is open 14-25 June. In Race Village you can also find food and refreshments, exhibitions, the Volvo Ocean Race Experience and much more.
