Alfa Laval showcased the second generation of PureBallast at the international shipbuilding, machinery & marine technology (SMM) trade fair in Hamburg, September 7-10, 2010. Two other products using Wallenius AOT were also launched. The interest was huge from ship owners wanting to prepare their vessels for upcoming legislation.

Recently Alfa Laval has received two orders of record size for Alfa Laval PureBallast systems from two leading shipyards in South Korea. The systems will be installed onboard 14 vessels built for A.P Møller – Maersk.
