When Nova Park sought to offer stressed business people a luxurious meeting place, the result was the "Water Lounge" a superb spa and experience centre with a unique style.
Nova Park wanted to avoid two things in its new watery environment. Most importantly, it wanted to avoid any harmful bacteria from being spread, such as Legionella, or other microorganisms that can easily multiply in such an environment, causing various diseases. It also wanted to avoid the strong odour and other side effects of chlorine – this meeting venue was not to be perceived as being like public baths. The challenge of supplying the facility was awarded to Swimtec, one of Wallenius Water's distributors, for whom the requirements did not present a problem, thanks to its knowledge and experience of Wallenius AOT.
By purifying the pool water using Wallenius AOT, Nova Park is today able to offer bathing water with a chlorine content almost as low as that in drinking water. Its spending on chlorine is minimal and the need to clean away algae from the waterline has disappeared. The facility is also considerably more energy efficient than other solutions. In standard UV facilities, the energy does the work, while Wallenius AOT employs a natural chemical reaction. Furthermore, Wallenius AOT also decreases organisms not always tackled by UV light.
